Dartford 2-1 Macclesfield Town

Max Cornhill scored a late winner as Conference Premier strugglers Dartford came from behind to beat Macclesfield.

The visitors took the lead when midfielder Paul Turnbull scored a stunning volley from long range.

Danny Harris levelled at the start of the second half as he headed in from Lee Noble's corner.

But Cornhill converted from close range late on as Dartford, who are 22nd in the table, moved to within two points of 20th-placed Hereford.

Dartford manager Tony Burman told BBC Radio Kent:

Post-match: Dartford manager Burman

"We gave them too much room in the first half. A lot of the players, in the first half of the season, weren't putting in decent enough performances.

"There's a few of them we felt were good players at the start of the season that are now telling us they are.

"The players have been under a lot of pressure. It was important to win today. We've got our three points and we've done our job."
