Matty Woodward seemed to have rescued a point for Rhyl, equalising after Matty Williams had given Saints a first-half lead, but Edwards undid his good work.

Aberystwyth Town 7-1 Afan Lido: Chris Venables led the way with a hat-trick as Aberystwyth crushed Afan Lido at Park Avenue.

Craig Williams (2), Cledan Davies and Luke Sherbon were also on target for Aber, with Connor Harris claiming a scant consolation goal.

Airbus UK Broughton 0-1 Bangor City: Les Davies struck a minute before time to break Airbus hearts and hand Bangor victory.

Carmarthen Town 6-1 Newtown: Christian Doidge scored a hat-trick as Carmarthen smashed Newtown in a one-side match.

Kyle Bassett also grabbed a brace of goals while Carl Evans completed the home scoring, with Shane Sutton on target for the visitors.

Bala Town 3-1 Port Talbot Town: Ian Sheridan's eighth-minute penalty set Bala on their way to victory over Port Talbot.

Rhys Griffiths equalised for the visitors but Kenny Lunt and Mark Connolly replied for Bala before Port Talbot had Adie Harris sent off on 73 minutes for his second yellow.

Prestatyn Town 1-1 Gap Connah's Quay: Ross Stephens' last-gasp equaliser rescued a point for Prestatyn at home after Lee McArdle had put Connah's Quay ahead.

Prestatyn full-back Jack Lewis had been sent-off three minutes before half-time, but Quay's Luke Holden also got his marching orders for a second bookable offence after 61 minutes and the visitors finished with nine men after Ricky Evans' late red.
