Colchester United 1-2 Tranmere Rovers

Tranmere picked up their second win in five games to beat Colchester United.

Jean-Louis Akpa Akpro put the away side in front when he burst clear of the U's defence, before slotting past goalkeeper Sam Walker.

Freddie Sears equalised for Colchester when he finally beat the impressive Owain Fon Williams from close range.

Akpa Akpro was involved with the winner, crossing for Ryan Lowe to score a vital goal, keeping Tranmere in 19th place, while Colchester are in 18th.
