Lincoln City 0-0 Dartford

Dartford picked up a vital point in their battle against relegation with a goalless draw at Lincoln in the Conference Premier.

Jim Stevenson went close for Dartford in the first half, his header well saved by Nick Townsend, as the home side struggled to impose themselves.

Lincoln improved after the break but rarely threatened Alan Julian in the Dartford goal.

Dartford are now one point from safety in 22nd place while the Imps are 15th.

Post-match: Lincoln manager Simpson

Lincoln City manager Gary Simpson told BBC Radio Lincolnshire:

"There was a strong wind blowing in the first half so we went with three centre-halves because we were kicking against it but in the second half we changed our shape and brought the subs on, and from then if anybody was going to win the game it was us.

"Koby [Arthur] came on and looked bright, he had a go and caused them problems and the game was a bit more exciting.

"It's another clean sheet. We wanted to win, obviously and in the second half we tried to win, we went for it. We want go to on a run to the end of the season and finish as high as we can."
