Referee was guessing at decisions - Hughes

Mark Hughes says he does not understand why some key decisions were made by referee Andre Marriner after his side lost 1-0 at home to Tottenham.

Hughes felt a second yellow for Stoke's Ryan Shawcross was not a booking and that Spurs defender Danny Rose should have seen red for raising his hands to Geoff Cameron.

Rose scored the only goal of the game in the 33rd minute, but Hughes was full of praise for his side who he feels would have won with 11 men on the field.
