Defending champions Liverpool move to within a point of Women's Super League leaders Chelsea, after a 2-1 win at Birmingham.

Fara Williams scored an opportunistic goal for from the halfway line, lobbing the keeper straight from the restart after Birmingham had equalised through Hannah Keryakoplis.

Chelsea's title hopes suffered a blow after their 1-0 defeat at second-bottom Notts County.

Meanwhile Everton's 3-0 defeat by Manchester City left the Toffees facing relegation.
