Luton Town midfielder Matt Robinson has signed a new deal until 2017.

The 20-year-old has made 46 appearances for the Hatters, including 27 games in last season's successful promotion campaign from the Conference.

The ex-Leicester City youngster has featured seven times this term.

"It's nice to have people put faith in you and an extended deal shows that the manager and the staff want me here for the long haul," Robinson told the League Two club's website.

"The manager has ambitions to take this club much higher than League Two and to be a part of that would be amazing."

Boss John Still added: "Matthew has shown enormous maturity for a player so young, especially last season when we had a very youthful midfield in the latter half of the campaign.

"Matthew is a great example to players of all ages because his attitude and work ethic has been second-to-none."
