BBC Sport - Football Focus: Debt-free Portsmouth finally on the mend

Debt-free Portsmouth are on the mend

Football Focus travels to Portsmouth to meet manager Andy Awford and chief executive Mark Catlin, as the club looks to move forward after finally becoming free of debt.

Portsmouth have been in administration twice in the past five years and the club came close to liquidation in 2013 before the Pompey Supporters' Trust came together to take over. But the League Two club has recently announced it has now cleared all debts.

Awford says: "Everything we do now is positive and about moving forward," adding, "when Pompey smiles, the city smiles".
