Macclesfield Town have brought back striker Matthew Barnes-Homer on loan from Conference South side Whitehawk.

The 28-year-old scored 21 goals for the club during the 2012-13 season, including two against Cardiff as the Silkmen reached the FA Cup fourth round for the first time in their history.

Barnes-Homer has had spells at Forest Green,Cambridge and Tamworth since leaving the Moss Rose.

The former Wolves youngster has also played for Luton and Kidderminster.

Macclesfield currently sit 10th in the Conference Premier, three points off the play-off places.
