Luton Town 3-1 Dagenham & Redbridge

A Mark Cullen hat-trick gave Luton an easy win over Dagenham & Redbridge and their sixth consecutive league victory.

Cullen scored twice in quick succession just before the break, heading in Andy Drury's cross before providing a calm finish to Michael Harriman's neat pass.

Pelly Ruddock was the provider for Cullen's emphatic third, before Jonathan Smith was denied by the post.

Substitute Christian Doidge headed in a late consolation for the visitors, who drop to 20th place in League Two.

Still on Luton v Dagenham

Luton Town manager John Still told BBC Three Counties Radio:

''I'm absolutely delighted with that. You've got to win in all conditions and all days, against all opposition. The games are tough every week and to have done that I'm obviously delighted.

''Mark Cullen is a terrific all-round player. He took his goals brilliantly. I'm so pleased for him because he works hard in training. It was the perfect performance tonight.

''I didn't really enjoy the game. You do your job, you're professional at your job. I watched Dagenham when I was 14, 15 years old. I've played for them, managed them a few times and I have lots of friends there.

''We've got enough in our locker to find results and at the moment we're doing that.''

Dagenham & Redbridge manager Wayne Burnett told BBC London 94.9:

Burnett on Luton v Dagenham

"We caused our own problems again. We are making individual errors and it is costing us. I am responsible for that.

"There is not a great deal I can say. I am the manager and the buck stops with me.

"The boys haven't stopped working, but I can't legislate for mistakes. It is incredibly frustrating because I know what these players are capable of."
