Notts County defender Jordan Cranston has signed a new 18-month contract at Meadow Lane.

The 20-year-old Wolves academy graduate joined the Magpies from Nuneaton in September on a deal until January.

Left-back Cranston has since played eight times for Shaun Derry's League One side, and the club are yet to be beaten in a game he has appeared in.

"It's first-team football at the end of the day and I'm delighted to have secured my future," said Cranston.

"My target is now to try and stay in the team, get a string of performances, help the lads out and hopefully have a successful season."
