Northampton boss Chris Wilder has been banned from the touchline for two games and fined £500 for using abusive language towards a referee.

The Football Association found Wilder guilty of three charges of misconduct during last week's loss at Cheltenham.

The former Oxford boss, 47, was sent to the stands at half-time after confronting referee Keith Hill.

He will have to watch Saturday's League Two match against Wimbledon and the FA Cup tie with Rochdale from the stands.
