Leicester City: Paul Konchesky red card overturned
Leicester full-back Paul Konchesky has had his red card against Aston Villa overturned.
The 33-year-old was dismissed following a clash with Villa defender Alan Hutton in Sunday's 2-1 defeat at Villa Park.
A Football Association statement said: "A claim of wrongful dismissal was upheld following an Independent Regulatory Commission hearing today."
Konchesky, who joined the Foxes from Liverpool, is now available for Saturday's visit by Manchester City.
The Foxes contested the three-match ban despite Nigel Pearson admitting after the game he thought overturning the decision of referee Craig Pawson was unlikely.
The Leicester manager said: "It's difficult to have a decision like that rescinded in all honesty."
Pearson's side are bottom of the Premier League after taking two points from the last 30.
