BBC Sport - West Brom 1-3 Man City: Pellegrini says scoring without strikers is 'important'

Strikerless Man City please Pellegrini

Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini says it is "important for the team" that his side can score without strikers after winning 3-1 away at West Brom.

City scored three first-half goals and survived a snowstorm to stay three points behind Premier League leaders Chelsea, despite the absence of forwards Sergio Aguero, Edin Dzeko and Stevan Jovetic.

Manchester City are the only Premier League side to score in each of their away games this season.
