Trinity Shield: Grouville reach final after victory over St Saviour

Grouville's victory in January was their first for 85 years

Reigning champions Grouville progressed to the Trinity Shield final after a 4-2 win over St Saviour at Les Quennevais.

Kamen Nafkha gave them a sixth minute lead before Charlie Petulla's penalty doubled the advantage.

Craig Leitch pulled one back for St Saviour soon after half-time, but the two-goal lead was restored by Charlie Payn with 20 minutes to go.

Dominic Pougelle scored St Savour's second before Petulla converted a second penalty in stoppage time.

Grouville will face St Brelade in the final at Springfield on Tuesday 6 January.
