Equatorial Guinea forward Genoveva Anonma recalls having to strip naked to prove her gender after starring at the 2008 African Women's Championship.
The 27-year-old scored the winning goal on home soil as her team beat South Africa 2-1 to became the first country other than Nigeria to win the tournament,
Her energetic and powerful performances prompted rival teams to accuse her of being a man and the Confederation of African Football (CAF) asked the tournament's top scorer to take her clothes off to establish her gender.
