John Disney: Chester full-back joins AFC Telford United

Chester full-back John Disney has joined Conference rivals AFC Telford United on a short-term contract until the end of the season.

Disney, 22, signed for Chester in June for a small fee after several seasons at Conference North side Hednesford.

He made his only Chester appearance at Braintree in August when substituted at the break as City turned round a half-time deficit in a 3-1 away win.

Disney becomes new Telford manager Steve Kittrick's fourth signing.

Kittrick, who has also inquired about Chester keeper Jon Worsnop, has already brought in Bradford Park Avenue midfielder Jack Rea, as well as two loan players, Notts County defender Kyle Dixon and young Everton right-back Ben McLaughlin.

Telford, who remain unbeaten in four matches under Kittrick, go into Saturday's trip to Wrexham still bottom of the Conference, 11 points adrift of safety.
