Cold weather affects Cowdenbeath v Rangers & Brechin v Peterhead

frozen pitch

Cowdenbeath's Championship match against Rangers on Saturday has been postponed after the referee deemed the pitch unplayable.

The cold weather had already forced the postponement of Brechin City's League One game against Peterhead.

A frozen Glebe Park pitch meant the game would not go ahead.

The match between East Fife and East Stirlingshire in League Two was called off just after 14:00 GMT despite having passed an earlier pitch inspection.

Stirling Albion v Forfar Athletic in League One got the go-ahead after an inspection of the playing surface.
