Millwall remain in the Championship relegation zone and Fulham are winless in five games after a draw at The Den.

Hugo Rodallega appeared to have scored a late winner for Fulham when he converted Kostas Stafylidis's cross at the second attempt but it was disallowed for offside.

Earlier Lee Gregory missed a great chance for the hosts, firing over from close range from Jimmy Abdou's cross.

Millwall have now not won at home since October, while Fulham are 19th.

The Lions started the brighter side and should have been ahead early on, but Gregory turned the ball over the bar after being picked out superbly by Abdou's cross from the right-hand side.

Fulham responded and goalkeeper David Forde had to be alert to push away Alex Kacaniklic's shot after a counter-attack.

On-loan Watford striker Diego Fabbrini produced a brilliant piece of skill but his pass narrowly evaded Martyn Woolford's head as Milwall continued to threaten.

The Cottagers once again hit back, first with Kacaniklic curling wide and then Rodallega hitting the side-netting from the edge of the box.

Holloway on Millwall v Fulham

After the break the Lions had the better of the play but nearly conceded on the counter-attack, as Rodallega failed to get on the end of Ryan Tunnicliffe's pass.

The Colombian striker was a constant threat and finally found the net with minutes remaining, only for it to be ruled out for offside.

Milwall remain in the relegation zone, three points from safety, whilst Fulham sit three places better off despite their poor form.

Millwall manager Ian Holloway:

"I thought we deserved to win. That's as good as we've been, apart from the goal.

"That's the most crosses we've had in a long time here, but unfortunately we've had 16 efforts at goal and only four on target, so that's what we've got to work on.

"I asked the team to take the game to Fulham and be on the front foot and I thought we were at the start of both halves.

"They looked dangerous on the counter-attack just before half-time but after the break we didn't feel they did and luckily the linesman got his job right because Rodallega was offside."

Fulham manager Kit Symons:

"I'm disappointed not to get the win, but a point in this division is precious so we'll take that. It was probably the right result in the end. They had the better possession and pressure in the first half, but I thought we were the ones pushing forward in the second half.

"I've also seen the disallowed goal again, and in my opinion it should have stood, so I'm disappointed not to have nicked.

"If the goal did stand it would of capped off a fantastic day - a clean sheet away from home, and if we would have come away with all three points it would have been perfect but it wasn't quite to be.

"But it was a hard-fought performance, and the players showed a lot of endeavour and a lot of effort. I thought we looked very dangerous on the counter attack but just lacked the extra bit of quality which could have got us a couple of goals."
