Blackburn Rovers boss Gary Bowyer says he may need to tweak his line-up ahead of the visit of Blackpool on Saturday.

Rovers scored a last-minute equaliser at Cardiff on Tuesday to add to wins over Stoke in the FA Cup and Rotherham in the league in the last eight days.

Manager Gary Bowyer told BBC Radio Lancashire: "It is a squad game and we might need to freshen it up.

"We had three massive efforts and I might need to tweak it here and there, but we will see how people recover."

After their 4-1 victory over Premier League side Stoke City last Saturday, Blackburn will host Liverpool in the FA Cup quarter-final on Sunday, 8 March.

"Saturday's result was wonderful," Bowyer continued.

"The draw and the emotion of facing Liverpool - these players are only human beings and we don't want it being a distraction.

"It's a fabulous draw but we have vowed now not to speak about it until March the fifth."
