Coleraine draw with Glentoran at Showgrounds

Midfielder Darren McAuley earned Coleraine a deserved draw at home to Glentoran with a second-half equaliser.

McCauley snapped up the loose ball to score after visiting keeper Elliott Morris had failed to hold a shot by former Glens forward Gary Browne.

The goal came in the 82nd minute and was McCauley's first since his return to the Bannsiders.

Glentoran had led for most of the match thanks to Steven Gordon's shot in the 22nd minute.

Fra McCaffrey created the chance and Gordon steered his shot past Michael Doherty for his fourth goal in four games, and ninth of the season overall.

Eleven of the last 18 meeting between Coleraine and Glentoran have ended in draws.
