Leyton Orient 1-3 Bristol City

Aaron Wilbraham scored for the third concecutive game

Leaders Bristol City recovered from the shock of conceding an early goal to beat strugglers Leyton Orient, who remain 21st in the League One table.

The hosts took the lead when Mark Little gave the ball away to Dave Mooney, who slid the ball to Chris Dagnall to slot past Frank Fielding.

But Bristol City turned the game around with Luke Freeman's close-range finish and Aden Flint's bullet header.

Aaron Wilbraham tucked home Joe Bryan's cross for his 16th goal of the season.

The visitors have stretched their lead at the top to 10 points after MK Dons were beaten at home by Chesterfield.

After Dagnall had given the home side a fourth-minute advantage, the visitors scored twice in nine minutes to take a 2-1 half-time lead.

Joe Bryan set up Freeman in the 12th minute for 1-1 and the former Stevenage midfielder then turned provider as his free-kick was met by Flint from six yards.

Dagnall went close to grabbing his second before the break but his shot was diverted over, before Andrea Dossena's long-range drive was turned over by Fielding early in the second half.

Wilbraham wrapped the game up with a finish at the back post to help secure Bristol City a third straight victory.

Cotterill on Orient v Bristol City

"It was a pleasurable win. It was a tough game, I thought they were very, very direct and tried to put a lot of balls into our box.

"We ended up conceding a goal we were really disappointed with - we don't want to give teams a leg up into games.

"But such is their spirit and attitude towards each other, they dug him [Mark Little] out of a hole tonight, which he normally does week in, week out for them.

"We want to finish the season in good form and good style."
