Jess Fishlock eyes end of club career

Jess Fishlock has been included in the Wales Women's squad for the friendlies against Slovakia on 6 and 8 April.

Fishlock, 28, was left out of new manager Jayne Ludlow's first squad for the Istria Cup in February.

Wales are using the matches in Bangor to prepare for their Euro 2017 qualifying campaign.

"It's another opportunity to develop an identity and a style of play that will bring success for us," said Ludlow.

She told the FAW website: "Our previous two encounters [against Slovakia] have ended in a draw and I'm sure that these matches will be competitive once again."
