Carlisle United offer deals to six players, with six to leave club

Carlisle United manager Keith Curle has made offers to loanees David Atkinson and Jason Kennedy to join from parent clubs Middlesbrough and Bradford.

Four out-of-contract first-team players have also been made offers.

Mark Gillespie and Brad Potts were made long-term offers, Derek Asamoah and Nathan Buddle offered short-term deals.

David Amoo, Stephen Elliott, Josh Gillies, Sean O'Hanlon, Matt Robson and David Symington will leave the club on the expiry of their contracts.

Player-coach Paul Thirlwell will also exit Brunton Park.

Curle has also made Troy Archibald-Henville, Mark Beck, Gary Dicker, Anthony Griffith, Danny Kearns, Courtney Meppen-Walter, Billy Paynter and Antony Sweeney available for transfer.
