Tottenham's Harry Kane says he hums the song Spurs fans sing in tribute to him.

Kane has scored 30 goals for Tottenham this season and won the Professional Footballers' Association Young Player of the Year award in April.

Spurs supporters have celebrated the 21-year-old's success on the pitch with the refrain: 'He's one of our own.'

"I've never sung it myself, but I've hummed it walking out of the stadium to my car," said Kane, who joined Spurs as an 11-year-old schoolboy.

In an interview with Four Four Two magazine Kane also said the song had served as motivation before he scored a last-minute winner in Tottenham's 2-1 victory against Aston Villa in November.

The striker said he "could hear it from the bench" before coming on and scoring a deflected free-kick at Villa Park, adding that it had "sent a shiver down my spine".

Kane, who also scored just 79 seconds into his England debut in March, only began to feature regularly for Tottenham in November.

He is the second-highest scorer of the Premier League season so far with 20 goals and scored seven times as Spurs reached the Europa League round of 32, adding three more in the League Cup.
