BBC Sport - Liverpool 1-3 Crystal Palace: Alan Pardew salutes 'best performance'

We brought best performance - Pardew

Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew says they "knew it was Steven Gerrard's day" but brought their "best performance" for his side's 3-1 victory over Liverpool at Anfield.

Adam Lallana put Liverpool ahead, Jason Puncheon equalised on the stroke of half-time before substitutes Wilfried Zaha and Glenn Murray wrapped up the win.

Palace have now won two league games at Anfield. Pardew played in the first (1991) and managed them in the second.
