Artur Boruc: Bournemouth sign Poland international goalkeeper
Bournemouth have signed Poland goalkeeper Artur Boruc on a one-year deal from Southampton, ahead of their first season in the Premier League.
The 35-year-old played 39 times on loan with Eddie Howe's side in 2014-15 and helped them to the Championship title.
Boruc initially joined the Cherries on a short-term basis, but that deal was extended until the end of the season.
Boruc, who kept 18 clean sheets last term, was one of six players released by Southampton on Tuesday.
Dutch defender Jos Hooiveld, 32, who spent the final months of the season on loan at Millwall, is another player leaving Saints after four years at the club.
American goalkeeper Cody Cropper, 22, is also departing, along with academy graduates goalkeeper Chris Johns, winger Omar Rowe and striker Jake Sinclair, all 20.
After joining Saints from Fiorentina in September 2012, Boruc made 50 appearances for Southampton in the Premier League.
Earlier in his career, he won three consecutive Scottish Premier League titles, two Scottish League Cups and the Scottish Cup with Celtic.
Boruc has been included in the Poland squad for their Euro 2016 qualifier against Georgia on 13 June, alongside Arsenal's Wojciech Szczesny and Swansea City goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski.
