A late equaliser saw champions Juventus held to a 2-2 draw at Hellas Verona in their last match of the Serie A season.

Roberto Pereyra gave Juve the lead with a curled finish, before Luca Toni, 38, fired in his 22nd goal of the season.

Mauro Icardi, with 20 goals, can overtake him as Serie A's top scorer when Inter Milan play Empoli on Sunday.

Spanish forward Fernando Llorente sidefooted in Juve's second before Juanito's late headed equaliser.

Moments before the goal, Juve forward Carlos Tevez had missed a penalty and his team-mate Simone Pepe was sent off for a wild challenge on Mattia Valoti.

Elsewhere, Filippo Inzaghi ended his reign as AC Milan coach with a 3-1 win at Atalanta.

Daniele Baselli gave the home side the lead before a Giampaolo Pazzini penalty and a double for Giacomo Bonaventura sealed the win.

Inzaghi could be replaced by former coach Carlo Ancelotti next week.
