Jose Semedo: Sheffield Wednesday defender signs new deal
Sheffield Wednesday defender Jose Semedo has signed a one-year contract extension.
Semedo, 30, made 30 league appearances for Wednesday last season as they finished 13th in the Championship.
The former Charlton defender joined the Owls on a free transfer in 2011 and won promotion from League One in his first season with the club.
"It's a dream come true and I would like to finish my career with Sheffield Wednesday," he told the club's website.
"I cannot wait to get back into the pre-season training and start the hard work for the new season.
"My confidence is high, I am feeling great and I want to continue to grow as a player here with my club."
