Burnley defender Michael Duff has signed a new one-year deal that will keep him at the Championship club for a 12th season.

He had been in contract talks with the Clarets after their one-season stay in the Premier League.

The 37-year-old centre-back joined from Cheltenham for £30,000 in 2004.

The former Northern Ireland international has been granted a testimonial match against Bradford City on August 1.

He has made 359 appearances during his time at Turf Moor, scoring eight goals.
