Oxford United: Mickey Lewis among coaching staff departures
Oxford United assistant head coach Mickey Lewis has left the club as part of a "reorganisation" after eight years as a member of the coaching staff.
Lewis also made more than 400 appearances as a United player and his second spell as coach included a period as caretaker manager in 2014.
He is replaced by youth team manager Chris Allen, also a former U's player.
Fitness and conditioning coach Alasdair Lane has also left after three years as head of sports science.
"I would like to thank Mickey and Alasdair for their efforts during my first season here and wish them the very best for the future," said head coach Michael Appleton.
