Norwich midfielder Louis Thompson has been called into the Wales Under-21 squad for their Uefa qualifier in Luxembourg on 4 September.

The 20-year-old joined Norwich from Swindon in September 2014 but was loaned back to the Robins last season.

Wales U-21 boss Geraint Williams retains the bulk of the squad which opened Wales' 2017 European Championship campaign in March.

That match saw Wales begin with a 3-1 home victory over Bulgaria.
