Sheffield Wednesday goalkeeper Keiren Westwood has signed an extended deal which keeps him at the Championship club until the summer of 2018.

The 30-year-old, who penned a two-year contract when he joined from Sunderland in July 2014, has established himself as the club's first-choice number one.

Westwood only missed three league games last season, keeping 17 clean sheets.

The Republic of Ireland keeper also kept a clean sheet in his country's friendly against England in June.
