Stoke were too passive - Hughes

Stoke City manager Mark Hughes says his side were "too passive" after Arsenal convincingly beat the Potters 2-0 at the Emirates.

Theo Walcott opened the scoring in the first half when he chased Mesut Ozil's long ball and fired low beyond Jack Butland, before substitute Olivier Giroud sealed victory late on with a header.

Stoke, who have not won at Arsenal since 1981, rarely looked like scoring and remain at the foot of the Premier League table.
