BBC Sport - England boss Roy Hodgson says Jack Grealish made right call

Grealish made right call - Hodgson

England manager Roy Hodgson believes Aston Villa midfielder Jack Grealish has made the "right decision" by pledging his international future to the country of his birth rather than the Republic of Ireland.

After naming two new players in his squad to face Estonia and Lithuania, Hodgson said he has followed Danny Ings "very closely", while adding that 19-year-old Tottenham midfielder Dele Alli is a "very exciting talent".

Hodgson has left out Liverpool forward Daniel Sturridge, who has just returned from injury, insisting that England can "survive without him", while Grealish was not named because he is still waiting for paperwork.
