QPR midfielder Ben Gladwin says he is hoping to extend his loan stay at League One strugglers Swindon Town.

Gladwin, 23, is due to return to QPR, who he signed for from Swindon in May this year, after Saturday's trip to Wigan.

"I've loved it," Gladwin told BBC Wiltshire of his time back at Swindon, who he rejoined on emergency loan on 9 October.

"Every footballer just wants to play football."

"I'd like to try and get my loan at Swindon extended," he added.

Gladwin, who scored in Swindon's dramatic 2-2 draw with Coventry on Saturday, says he has enjoyed returning to the club where he spent two seasons from 2013.

"QPR are flying at the moment and it comes down to them and what they want to do. I'd like to continue playing football."
