Guernsey FC have taken six points from a possible 18 in Isthmian League Division One South

Guernsey FC boss Tony Vance has challenged his side to push on from their 6-1 win over Peacehaven and Telscombe on Saturday.

The victory ended a run of three successive defeats as they prepare to got to third-placed Molesey on Tuesday.

"Everyone will love it, everyone will be excited because it's 6-1," Vance told BBC Radio Guernsey.

"But the key is can we do that over the next three or four games. Can we continue it?"

The victory lifted the Green Lions up to 11th in the Isthmian League Division One South.

"Hopefully we've got that in us, but a lot of that is dictated by who we can get out and ensuring that the lads are on it each game," added Vance, whose side have struggled for numbers for off-island away games in midweek.

"Ultimately what we face now is a team who are third in Molesey, away from home on a Tuesday night and that says it all really.

"That is our Achilles heel, that's where we struggle. Can we replicate that on Tuesday night? We'll see."
