BBC Sport - Chris Wilder: Northampton Town needed by fans despite uncertainty

Proud Cobblers cannot die - Wilder

Northampton Town manager Chris Wilder tells BBC Look East that a club with the support and history of the Cobblers "can't die" amid concerns over its future.

On Thursday, former Oxford United chairman Kelvin Thomas released a statement to say his deal to take over the League Two side from current chairman David Cardoza is in doubt.

The club is subject to an administration petition from the local council over a £10.25m loan and a winding-up petition from HM Revenue & Customs.
