Hartlepool have extended the loans of Middlesbrough defender Adam Jackson and Crystal Palace midfielder Jake Gray until the end of the season.

Both players joined the club on month-long deals in November, but will now stay for the remainder of the campaign.

Jackson, 21, has featured eight times for Ronnie Moore's side, most recently in their 2-1 defeat by Plymouth.

Gray, 20, who has not made a senior appearance for Palace, has scored twice in his eight starts for Pools.

"Adam's put in some good performances so we're delighted that he'll be part of the squad for the rest of the season," Moore told the club's website.

"Jake has shown his ability during the time he's been here so it's great that he'll be sticking around," he added.
