Elsewhere in the Bundesliga on Saturday, former Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez scored twice to help Bayer Leverkusen climb back to fourth after beating bottom club Hannover 3-0.

Stefan Kiessling gave them the lead on the stroke of half-time, before Mexico international Hernandez converted a 62nd-minute penalty and he struck his 13th league goal of the season with three minutes of normal time remaining.

Hertha Berlin remain third despite squandering a two-goal lead to draw 3-3 with Werder Bremen.

Schalke are up to fifth after a 2-0 away win against Darmstadt.
