Arter pushing for Republic selection

Bournemouth midfielder Harry Arter hopes he has done enough to earn a place in the Republic of Ireland's squad for Euro 2016.

The 26-year-old won only his second cap - and made his first international start - in Friday night's 1-1 draw against the Netherlands.

"We are aware which players are guaranteed to be in the squad, and there are group of us who are not. Luckily I was given a chance tonight," said London native Arter.
