Scott Rendell: Aldershot sign Woking striker
National League side Aldershot Town have signed striker Scott Rendell from local rivals Woking.
The 29-year-old scored 41 goals in 75 league appearances during three years with the Cards but missed most of last season through injury.
Woking fans raised over £10k so Rendell could have surgery after suffering knee ligament damage in August.
The former Cambridge United, Wycombe Wanderers and Luton Town man has agreed a one-year deal with the Shots.
Meanwhile, the Shots have re-signed left-back Anthony Straker. The 27 year-old played 229 matches for the Hampshire side between 2007 and 2012.
