Blackburn Rovers: Club appoints Sandy Stewart as assistant manager
Championship side Blackburn Rovers have appointed Sandy Stewart as Owen Coyle's assistant manager.
The 50-year-old worked alongside Rovers boss Coyle at Burnley, Bolton, Wigan and Houston Dynamo.
Stewart told the club's website: "The facilities here are first class and when I walked through the door I got that buzz again.
"I can't wait to get involved with the players and hopefully we can build something."
