National League newcomers Sutton United have signed Roarie Deacon following his departure from Crawley Town.

The 24-year-old forward scored five goals in 40 appearances for the League Two side last season after joining from Stevenage.

"Roarie is a player we've tracked for a while and is a big signing for the club," Sutton manager Paul Doswell told the club website.

"He is a direct replacement for Tom Bolarinwa."

Winger Bolarinwa joined Grimsby in June for an undisclosed fee.

Sutton had already signed winger Bradley Hudson-Odoi, 27, from Wealdstone following their promotion from National League South.
