Former Equatorial Guinea official given global ban by Fifa

Former vice-president of Equatorial Guinea's Football Federation Gustavo N'dong Edu has been banned from world football for two years.

Fifa extended the ban already handed out by Confederation of African Football which found Edu guilty of attempting to bribe match referees.

Caf had also ordered Edu to pay a fine of US $25,000.

Edu offered money to match officials of Equatorial Guinea's Women's Afcon 2016 qualifier against Mali in April.
