Irish Premiership: Healy relishing clash with Glenavon
Linfield boss David Healy is looking forward to testing his side against fellow Premiership title contenders Glenavon at Windsor Park on Saturday.
Glenavon are level on points with leaders Crusaders and two points clear of the Belfast Blues.
"It's a game we should be relishing and we face a side in good form, they have good players," said former Northern Ireland striker Healy.
"It will be another tough match but we are looking forward to it."
Linfield will hope to build on a resilient display against champions Crusaders last weekend when they secured a scoreless draw despite having Stephen Lowry sent-off.
Glenavon defeated Linfield in the Irish Cup final in May and the signing of former Northern Ireland winger Paddy McCourt in the summer has bolstered their title ambitions.
Gary Hamilton's team struck two late goals against Cliftonville last Saturday to win 3-2 and maintain their unbeaten start to the campaign.
Crusaders, who are aiming for a third straight Gibson Cup success, top the standings on goal difference and they travel to face a Coleraine side aiming to bounce back after a 4-0 hammering at Dungannon Swifts.
The heavy defeat came just four days after the Bannsiders impressed in a 1-1 draw with Linfield at Windsor Park.
"The performance against Linfield was among the best four or five since I've been here," said Coleraine manager Oran Kearney.
"However, the display at Dungannon was one of the bottom five.
"It's very simple - the performance against Crusaders needs to be in that top five and if not it will be a cricket score."
Newly promoted Ards are also tied with the Crues and Glenavon on seven points and they hope to continue their good start at Ballymena United.
Cliftonville host Dungannon Swifts while Ballinamallard are aiming for their first point as they travel to take on Carrick Rangers.
Glentoran have slipped down to eighth after losing their last two games and they meet Portadown at Shamrock Park.
