Adam Lockwood is still looking for a first win in charge of Guiseley

Adam Lockwood has been named permanent manager of National League Guiseley following a period as caretaker.

Former Doncaster and Yeovil defender Lockwood, 34, took charge when Mark Bower was sacked in August following a run of five straight defeats.

Lockwood will be assisted by Dave Penney, who has previously guided both Doncaster and Darlington to promotion from the National League.

Guiseley are currently bottom of the table without a win this season.
