Truro City boss Lee Hodges is worried by his side's lack of mental strength after a 5-0 loss at St Albans City

The White Tigers conceded three times in the final 30 minutes after failing to take a number of first-half chances.

"At the moment we're a little bit weak and we conceded and seemed to not give up, but all go into our shells rather than stick our chests out and keep working hard," Hodges said.

"We've got a weak underbelly at the moment and it's not enjoyable."

Truro have taken just one point in their last four games in National League South, and have fallen to 17th place in the table.

"We played very well in the first half, yes we went down on a a set-piece early on, but we dominated the first half and with a bit of luck we should have stuck two or three away ourselves.

"No-one gave up, but we were conceding too many goals," Hodges toldo BBC Radio Cornwall.

"It seemed the last half hour we started feeling sorry for ourselves once the third goal went in."
