Slovakia celebrate
Scotland were well beaten in Slovakia

Scotland Under-21s fell to a heavy defeat against Slovakia in Wednesday's friendly in Myjava - a third loss in three games for coach Scot Gemmill.

Albert Rusnak struck to put the hosts ahead early in the match.

An Alex Iacovitti own goal doubled their advantage and Branislav Ninaj netted the home side's third.

Filip Balaj rounded off victory for Slovakia, who will feature at next year's European Under-21 Championship in Poland.

Hamilton Academical's Eamonn Brophy won his first Scotland Under-21 cap in the starting line-up while substitutes Alan Forrest, of Ayr United, and Morton's Jai Quitongo also debuted for the side.

Gemmill replaced Ricky Sbragia in September and oversaw 2-0 defeats by Iceland and Macedonia at the end of Scotland's unsuccessful European Championship qualifying campaign.
