Ryan Inniss: Southend United defender has shoulder surgery
Southend United defender Ryan Inniss could be out for about three months after having surgery on his shoulder.
The 21-year-old, on loan from Crystal Palace, dislocated his shoulder in the Shrimpers' FA Cup first-round 1-0 defeat by Millwall last Friday.
Inniss has made six appearances for Phil Brown's side this season after being released from prison on appeal, having admitted an assault charge.
The 14-week sentence was subsequently suspended by 18 months.
